Mulch Delivery Information
Tree Fish Mulch provides bulk mulch delivery to residential and commercial customers throughout the Grand Rapids area. Our goal is to make ordering mulch easy and convenient by delivering it directly to your property.
Please review the following delivery guidelines before placing your order so that delivery can be completed safely and efficiently.
Delivery Area
Tree Fish Mulch currently delivers within the Grand Rapids, Michigan region and surrounding communities.
Delivery availability may vary depending on distance, scheduling, and seasonal demand. If you are unsure whether your location is within our delivery area, please contact us before placing your order.
Delivery Scheduling
Mulch deliveries are typically scheduled based on route efficiency and availability.
Customers may request preferred delivery windows when placing an order, but specific delivery times cannot always be guaranteed.
During peak landscaping seasons, delivery schedules may extend several days depending on order volume and weather conditions.
Tree Fish Mulch will make reasonable efforts to complete deliveries within the expected timeframe.
Delivery Location
Mulch is typically delivered in bulk and dumped in a single pile.
The standard delivery location is:
• Driveway
• Gravel area
• Other accessible hard surface
Customers may request a specific drop location when placing an order. However, the final placement location is determined by the delivery driver based on safety and accessibility.
For safety reasons, mulch cannot be delivered:
• Inside garages
• Over fences
• In areas inaccessible to delivery trucks
• On steep slopes or unstable surfaces
If a requested location cannot be safely accessed, mulch will be placed in the nearest safe location.
Property Access Requirements
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery area is accessible for a medium duty delivery truck.
Please ensure the following before delivery:
• Driveways are clear of vehicles and obstacles
• Gates are open
• Pets are secured
• Delivery areas are clearly marked if special placement is requested
If the delivery location is unclear or inaccessible at the time of delivery, the driver will place the mulch in the safest accessible location.
Driveway and Property Disclaimer
Bulk mulch deliveries require heavy trucks and equipment.
While our drivers take great care during deliveries, Tree Fish is not responsible for damage to driveways, sidewalks, lawns, landscaping, underground utilities, irrigation systems, or other property conditions that may occur during delivery.
This includes but is not limited to:
• Cracked or weakened concrete
• Asphalt that softens during hot weather
• Lawn or soil compression
• Hidden pipes, wiring, or irrigation lines
By placing an order for delivery, customers acknowledge and accept these potential risks.
Weather Delays
Mulch deliveries may be delayed due to weather conditions that make transportation or unloading unsafe.
This may include:
• Heavy rain
• Severe storms
• Flooding
• Snow or ice
• Extremely muddy ground conditions
If weather delays occur, Tree Fish Mulch will reschedule delivery as soon as conditions allow.
Delivery Quantities
Mulch is measured and delivered in cubic yards.
Because mulch is a natural material that can settle during transportation and spreading, slight variations in volume may occur.
Tree Fish Mulch recommends ordering slightly more mulch than calculated to account for irregular bed shapes and settling.
Customers are responsible for verifying their mulch quantity using the mulch calculator or their own measurements before placing an order.
Order Changes and Cancellations
Orders may be changed or canceled prior to delivery, depending on scheduling and processing status.
Once mulch has been loaded for delivery or delivered to the property, cancellations or refunds may not be available.
If an issue occurs with your order, please contact Tree Fish Mulch as soon as possible so we can review the situation.
Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth delivery, customers agree to:
• Provide accurate delivery address information
• Ensure the property is accessible for delivery
• Provide clear instructions if a specific drop location is desired
• Verify mulch quantities before placing an order
Tree Fish Mulch is not responsible for delays or placement issues caused by incorrect delivery information.
